Year 3 History off the page event

History Off the Page is a company which provides immersive and practical History, Science and Literature workshops to schools. The workshop, which will take place in the school hall during normal school hours, will give us a feeling of what it was like to be an Greek in ancient times.

On the day, your child will experience life as it would have been during the 5th Century BC in Athens. The children will learn about the issues of the time, with the opportunity to participate in a range of cross-curricular activities and crafts. The children may keep the items they make.

A simple costume will help your child feel part of the day. Please see the attached for some ideas. We need a number of adult helpers during the day, and we welcome your participation. If you are able to attend, please contact myself or the office with your availability.
