Year 5 - Stop Motion Workshop

To compliment our study of Video Editing, we have invited Let’s Animate to provide a Stop Motion Animation workshop in the school on Wednesday 17^th of December 2025.

Let’s Animate is a company which strives to spark creativity and bring stories to life. The workshop, which will take place in the school hall during normal school hours, will give us a feeling of what it was like to be in an animator.

On the day, your child will work in a small group to dive into the chosen animation style, getting a sneak peek into the magical world of animation!​ The first hour is all about creating - building characters and scenes - while the second hour is packed with animating and editing your very own mini movie. By the end, you'll be an animation pro - mastering the equipment, techniques and all the coolest animation secrets! This session is a quick, creative burst that lets you jump right into the fun and discover the awesome animation process!
