Last Thursday the Reception Class visited Chatteris Library. They walked responsibly to the Library. When we arrived we met the staff, Jamie and Deborah, and they told us all about all the different categories of books we could borrow from the library.
We explored the library to find all the different areas for example the computers, the self-registration machine, the desk, fiction books and non-fiction books. We all used our brand new library cards to find a book for us to borrow to take home and enjoy sharing with our families. Jamie then read us the story ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ we enjoyed listening to this story and we joined in.
